Welche Produkte und welchen Service bietet Flex IT?

Flex IT offers business solutions that are all designed around circular economy principles. They include the buying, renting and leasing of circular IT hardware and the disposal of depreciated hardware. Read more about what we offer.

Can I request a quote?

We always strive to offer the best prices for our customers. If you have a question about the prices of products or want to request a quote, please reach out to our local sales office.

What product statuses are there and what's the difference?

There are several terms and categories to describe products and their statuses. These statuses include new, remanufactured, demo and refurbished and describe the condition of the product, ranging from “brand new” to ‘’B grade’’ refurbished. Read all about product statuses.

How do I check the grade of products?

The product grade describing the condition of products can be viewed on the product page in our online shop directly below the title of the product (indicated with “Grade”). Read more about the grading of products.

What does circular IT mean?

Circular IT involves extending the lifespan of IT hardware, reducing electronic waste (e-waste), and promoting the reuse of IT assets. Circular IT practices include the refurbishing, remanufacturing, upcycling and renting of IT hardware. Read more about circular IT.

What's the difference between refurbished and used?

Refurbished IT hardware and ''used'' are both sustainable business practices and part of the circular economy. However, refurbishing extends the maximum lifespan of a product through an extensive refurbishment process also adding services such as warranty and certified data wiping. ''Used'' merely gives products a new user. Read more about circular IT.

Do circular products have different warranties than new products?

In short, yes. New and remanufactured products are covered by the full manufacturer's warranty, whereas refurbished and demo products are covered by the Flex IT warranty, often having the same quality standards and length as new products. Read more about the types of warranties.

Do circular products have a lower price than new ones?

Typically, yes. The price of a product depends on the model, status and condition of the product with circular products generally having a lower price compared to new products of a similar model and specifications. Read more about the differences between products.

What is ''Approved Selection''?

Approved Selection is our own Flex IT circular brand that is recognized as a top-notch provider of refurbished products. Approved Selection devices have an "A+" grade, meaning that they are in very good condition with minimal signs of use including extensive warranty options. Read more about Approved Selection.

What is a ''refurbished'' product?

Refurbished products have been previously owned but have been repaired and restored through a defined restoration process to restore devices to like-new conditions. Flex IT’s refurbishment process is expansive. We repair or replace damaged or broken components, clean and test the equipment, and update software and firmware as needed. What is a ''remanufactured'' product?

Remanufactured products have been previously owned but have gone through a manufacturer's defined restoration process with parts being used to modify or repurpose existing equipment to restore devices to like-new conditions. Read more about the different categories of IT products.

What is the difference between a ‘refurbished’ and a ‘remanufactured’ product?

Refurbished and remanufactured IT products have many similarities. The key difference between them lies in the process of restoration. Read more about the difference between refurbished and remanufactured.

Is renting/leasing products a possibility?

Yes, renting and leasing IT hardware is possible. Flex IT Rent offers IT hardware for short-term and long-term use, which is ideal for projects, events, exams, and other purposes. Learn more about Flex IT Rent.

How does Flex IT ensure the quality of products and services?

The circular IT hardware of Flex IT meets one of the highest quality standards in Europe. Does Flex IT offer demos or trials for products or services?

If you are interested in a specific product and would like to request a demo, the best thing to do is reach out to our local sales office. Together we can discuss the possibilities and options for your business.

2. Ordering & Shipping

What lead time does Flex IT have for fulfilling orders?

We aim to process orders within 24-72 hours. The lead time for fulfilling orders depends on the region, the type of delivery service you choose and the type of order, with potential extra setup days being a factor. What can I do if my desired product is out of stock?

A specific product you are looking for going out of stock is unfortunately a possibility. The best option is to consult our local sales office for more information about product availability or other similar products that match the specific product that you are looking for.

Does Flex IT offer shipping to international locations?

Yes. Flex IT ships to countries throughout Europe. If you have any questions regarding shipping, please reach out to our local sales office.

5. Refunds & Returns

When is a product considered damaged?

When is a product considered damaged? Determining potential damages and when they occurred depends on different factors. Each case is different. Therefore, if boxes or products are missing or damaged during transport, it is important that you raise a case by notifying Flex IT within five (5) days after delivery by submitting a RMA request, accompanied by a signed delivery note stating the damages upon arrival. Who do I contact when products are damaged?

Unfortunately, damages to products are a possibility. When that occurs, you can submit a ticket in our RMA portal. A dedicated person will reach out to you to personally assist you. Please reach out to our local sales office if you require help going through the RMA process.

What is the status of my repair?

The status of a repair of a product can be reviewed in our RMA portal.

How do I return or exchange an item?

You can submit a request to return or exchange products in our RMA portal.

What steps do I take to return products?

The first step to return a product is to submit a request in our RMA portal. After that, a dedicated person will reach out to you to personally assist you.

6. Warranty & Guarantee

Does Flex IT offer any warranties?

Yes, Flex IT offers warranties with the conditions and length depending on the type of product(s). Read more about warranty conditions in Annex 1 of our Terms & Conditions.

How does Flex IT guarantee the quality of products?

The quality of our products meets one of the highest standards in Europe. We guarantee consistent grading and insight in the quality of our products through detailed classifications of our circular devices. Our refurbishment process ensures reliable performances, and we emphasise that by offering up to three years of warranty on our refurbished IT devices, similar to most new devices. How do I claim a warranty?

Warranties can be claimed in cases of transport issues (missing or damaged products), commercial returns (ordered or received wrong products) and other product issues. If you wish to claim a warranty, you can inform Flex IT by raising a case in our RMA portal. After that, a dedicated person will reach out to you to personally assist you. Does Flex IT have any certifications or accreditations?

Yes. Flex IT has many certifications and accreditations, a result of complying with strict national and international regulations.

Where is Flex IT located?

As of now Flex IT holds offices in eight European countries with our main office and warehouse located in Leiden, the Netherlands.

Does Flex IT have any charity or social initiatives that I can learn more about?

Yes. Flex IT regularly engages in social initiatives and charities. An example is IT4Kids, a foundation that supports children by donating the residual value of depreciated hardware.
